By accessing or using Legionella Guard, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

1. About Legionella Guard

Legionella Guard is a digital compliance platform designed to help landlords and agents record, store, and manage property safety checks.

The platform enables users to complete Legionella risk assessments, record smoke alarm and carbon monoxide alarm checks, upload photographic evidence of testing results, upload and store PAT-style electrical appliance testing records, and manage multiple properties from a single dashboard.

Legionella Guard provides a record-keeping and reporting tool only and does not replace professional legal, health, or safety advice.

2. Who Can Use the Service

The Legionella Guard platform is available for use by private landlords, letting and managing agents, and property managers.

Users must ensure they have the legal authority to enter, upload, and store data for each property listed on their account.

3. Accounts and Access

Each user must create an account using accurate and up-to-date information.

Login credentials must be kept secure, and users are responsible for all activity carried out under their account.

Multiple properties may be managed within a single account, and properties can be viewed alphabetically or by date.

4. White-Label Agent Accounts

Legionella Guard offers white-label functionality for letting and managing agents.

Under white-label use, landlord names and personal details are not visible to Legionella Guard.

Legionella Guard retains only the property address, compliance results and uploaded evidence, and the agent’s name and contact number.

This functionality allows agents to resell the service to clients under their own branding and protect client relationships and data confidentiality.

5. Smoke Alarm and Electrical Record Storage

In addition to Legionella assessments, Legionella Guard allows users to log smoke alarm and carbon monoxide alarm testing dates.

Alarms legionella guard provides a way of recording test and operation of smoke and carbon alarms. With record of user date .. Testing switch operation and with spray testing.. So tenants are protected.

Users may upload photographic evidence of alarm testing and upload images or documents relating to PAT-style electrical testing.

These features are provided to support landlords in demonstrating compliance with legal safety obligations.

6. User Responsibilities

You agree that all data entered into Legionella Guard is accurate and truthful.

Uploaded images and documents must relate to the correct property.

You remain responsible for meeting all legal safety obligations, and Legionella Guard does not guarantee compliance or acceptance by local authorities. The duty of care rests totally with the landlord

7. Fees

Fees are payable with by the assessment upfront and easily via the safe and secure strip payment platform or can be monthly billed if required through the same application.

No refunds are offered unless required by law.

8. Data Protection and Privacy

Legionella Guard processes data in accordance with UK data protection legislation.

We store only the data necessary to provide the service, do not sell or share user data with third parties, and apply appropriate technical and organisational security measures.

9. Intellectual Property

All software, content, layouts, and processes used by Legionella Guard remain the intellectual property of Legionella Guard.

Users may not copy, reproduce, resell, redistribute, reverse engineer, or modify any part of the platform.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Legionella Guard is not liable for fines, penalties, or enforcement action.

This includes losses arising from inaccurate or incomplete data entered by users or failure to meet legal compliance obligations.

11. Suspension and Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms and Conditions, misuse the platform, or upload false or misleading information.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time.

Continued use of Legionella Guard indicates acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
